My Heart Is an Open Book

February 7, 2012

One of the saddest things about Kindles and other e-readers is that they do away with the need for a good book mark. I love a good bookmark. I have one bookmark that I was given by my grandmother when she went to Switzerland many years ago. I still use it a lot, and it’s surprisingly clean and fresh looking still.

Fortunately, not everyone reads exclusively from their e-reader. So, just in time for Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d pass on this cute idea I discovered on Pinterest. It took me about 10 minutes to make these, so they would be easy to make for everyone in your family, or your class, or your office. Bonus: you end up with fun heart confetti! And imagine the opportunity for puns. It’s almost worth making these just for that! “You’re my happily ever after!” “You’re the ‘write’ one for me!” “You’ve got the ‘write’ stuff!” Anyone else? Please share in the pun-y goodness!
